  • Heather Howard, LMSW, Supervisee in Social Work

    Ms. Heather Howard specializes in working with adults, college/graduate school students, professionals, and adolescents who are dealing with depression anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, and challenging relationships (and much more) while using relevant, evidenced-based methods. She has experience working with a wide range of cultural, social backgrounds, and beliefs.

    Ms. Howard reports her greatest joy in life is to encourage others to succeed. She believes a strength’s-based approach is one of the most effective approaches to exploring what success looks like for her patients. Her goal is to offer support and intervention as patients consider and implement ways to lighten their emotional load and identify a space for inner wellness.

    Cristal Jenkins, LCSW

    Ms. Cristal Jenkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia and Washington State. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington in 2012. 

    Ms. Jenkins has worked in many clinical settings with individuals and families and has experience addressing a variety of personal issues, including depression, anxiety, family and parenting problems, trauma/abuse, stress, intimate relationships, vocational assistance, and addictions. She has served as a clinical supervisor for intensive in-home services, worked as an emergency room psychiatric evaluator for eight HCA hospitals in the state of Virginia, has worked with educational service districts providing behavioral consultation in classrooms, and is the owner of Evergreen Counseling Services. 

    Ms. Jenkins believes that people are incredibly resilient and can grow through challenging experiences with the help of a genuinely caring person. She utilizes various treatment modalities in private practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy and approaches all clients with a strengths perspective to help them feel empowered.
